The Northern Ireland Housing Executive has acquired and demolished a number of properties as part of the Village Regeneration Scheme.  The scheme is also being run along side the re-introduction of Renovation Grants for the area where eligible properties will be able to receive grant funding up to £25,000.00 to cover works including general renovations and extensions to properties providing new kitchens and bathrooms.

Techniplan were asked recently to undertake a very unique project.  It was unique because not only was it not strictly an architecural construction project but also because it was the first and currently only one we know of in Northern Ireland.  What is this I hear you ask.  Its the Bus Stop Cafe.  A unique converted double decker bus restaurant.

Techniplan proudly prepared internal design plans and external graphic design for the project.

The Bus is currently located at The Shane Retail Park, Boucher Road, Belfast (Opposite Homebase)
